Request - compare multiple gmetrix files

Hi all

If the devs read this, what would be really useful from Virb edit is the ability to compare multiple gmetrix files

On track days (and indeed any activity that involves going round the same circuit - running, cycling etc) it would be really useful to be able to compare the traces from separate gmetrix files

The graphs would be distance (x axis) against speed (y axis)

Then it would be possible to compare lap performance from multiple files that are taken at different times - either different sessions on the same day or different periods (e.g. throughout a training programme)

Is this something that could be done?

Hi hobbituk84,

off course Virb Edit is not a comparison tool. But what´s currently possible:
Create a Video with your first overlay and export it. Then use this result and add your second gmetrix to compare.

There are many tools, which can manipulate and display fit-files. Maybe you will find something helpful:

We're planning to allow export of all post-processed data in some easy to read format (json or xml).

I don't think we'll have stuff like total distance, but that should be easy enough to calculate. Accelerometer, jumps, etc. would all be included.

No time-line that I can share yet, unfortunately, but we're on it.

That would be very helpful for me! Actually I cannot see why some values are dropping or stopping at some point.
Read the OBD Part with the Fit-Tool is not working properly...
