Really slow to export

I made a video, the battery ran out so it's only 1:23. I put the 6 clips together, added the layovers I wanted, clicked Export, accepted the defaults.

It's been running for over 2 hours and it's only at 70%. This is crazy. Did I do something wrong?

By 1:23 do you mean minutes or hours?

If it's the former, then yes 2 hours seems awfully long, if it's the latter that could be possible. (Changing the encoder to Media Foundation might speed it up.) See https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?342589-Picking-encoder-decoder-technology for some caveats.

Thank you, I will try that next time. Yes, it was an hour 23. I didn't time it but I think it took 3 - 4 hours to finish. It's an older computer, but a decent one, 64bit, 12GB ram, i7 Alienware so I don't think it was PC related.
