Losing GMetrix sync over duration of a run

I set the start point in Edit for a video - recording time is about 45 minutes - in the early laps the sync is right on, as the laps go by the data sync seems to get further and further behind the video action. Over the 45 minutes the shift seems to grow to about 10 seconds.

Ideas?

Can you tell me what kind of video you're using? (Screenshot of Properties on the clip in the media library would be best.)

The completed video spans 2 complete VIRB file units of 3.41 GB.

Im having a similar issue with my XE. Right off the bat when I start recording a brand new video (unit is powered on already for a minute or two and has GPS link established) Then recording is started, The sync is off by 1-1.5 seconds. After 30 min of total video (multiple start and stop recording but unit is still powered on) it starts to get to 3-4 seconds delay for the G metrics.

Hi,
I'm having exact the same problem.
When I sync start of video, the end is out of sync in about of 2-3 seconds.

It's very annoying and makes GMetrix unusable.

Set the start at a well defined marking across the track (painted S/F line on track) - at the conclusion of the 1st 3.4 Mile lap - the lap counter turned to the new lap about 200 yards shy of the painted S/F line - I have not perused the full video yet to see if there is further creep for each succeeding lap.

That doesnt help any when the beginning is spot on but 20 min into the recording it drifts off 2-3 seconds. Edit will only allow for overall time sliding, not for adjusting an increase in out of sync over the duration.

I understand that VIRB Edit can only deal with the data that is presented to it. The bigger problem is why is the my VIRB Elite camera creating the time/location shift. I am aware the civilian GPS is only accurate to about 10 feet - but 200 yards?
