Since a couple of months I have been using a Virb XE, Virb Edit and the Virb App
I have some suggestions.
What is the best place to drop suggestions to Garmin?
Windows
On import of Content to Virb Edit the application should have a better distribution of the files.
The application should offer the user some settings to customize what Directorys should be created.
This should also provide a customized auto rename of video and picture files. On the device the files are created in individual directory's and have identical names.
For example, Create a directory per Week or Month and Rename the files based on a customized name/number/date
Something like this ..\2016_03\2016_03_05_001.mp4
Allp my Sony and Nikon camera software have simular functions.
Virb Edit should offer a custom setting to choose the location for the G-Metrix files.
It's currently hidden somewhere in the Application Data section of windows. G-Metrix is not Application Data..It is Customer Data!!
Customer Data should never be stored in the AppData directory.
Android
The Virb App Should provide a proper Play Back option.
Currently PlayBack is much to primitive. Low resolution and extremely low frame rate. Ik looks more like a powerpoint presentation :(
Apparently Streaming of video realtime is possible. So why not for play Back
