Metric unit overlays?

Hi,

Just got my new Virb XE and playing around with sensors, overlays and Virb edit. I have a Tempe sensor linked up and on the Virb XE the units are set correctly and showing in degrees celcius, however when editing videos all the temperature overlays are in F?

Surely there is a way to display the temperature overlay correctly in metric as shown on the camera and the phone app? Also noticed that the same is true for all the gauges which will make this effectively useless for anyone outside the US? (i.e. all in feet and miles etc)

Please tell me I'm just being stupid and there's a simple way to switch to metric units for the G-Metrix overlays - the only reason I brought this camera,

Answered my own question, was being stupid... Menu/Settings and the not totally obvious UNITS tab.

Even a basic manual would have been nice!

I have to agree that the 'instructions' provided with the units when purchased leave a lot to be desired in understanding the options that are available with the unit and how to utilize them.

We do! We really appreciate feedback like this from the forums, too.

It sounds like we haven't quite hit the mark on selecting your preferred units. If you don't mind, can you tell us where you thought to look first, or where you expected to find these controls?

In fairness to Garmin.....

In fairness to Garmin, 'Menu;Settings;Units' sounds like a completely reasonable place to expect to find the settings for the units displayed....

The very first place I looked for it was under menu:settings, but for whatever reason the UNITS label next to the word GENERAL really does not stand out - or at least didn't to me - and I am far from a first time user of editing software etc.

I have since asked a couple of similarly tech savvy mates to try and find the unit change options as well - all have struggled to locate it...not sure why, but that's what I found.

So the obvious place is under menu:settings, but perhaps some change in the layout/format/colouring?
