I am trying to use the Virb edit software for the first time, however, whenever I try to playback video after importing it in the software all I get is a black screen with sound. This occurs in all places where I try to play the video, including double clicking on the imported video (when the big preview screen comes up), as well as in the small editing preview window and in the screen which comes up when you try to sync the gps data. The video plays fine in windows media player. Also, when I try to drag the clips onto the timeline, the timeline stays completely black (even though I know the video is there because if I click play I can hear the audio.) I have tried uninstalling and installing again, as well as installing the newest beta version but the problem is still there. The software works on my other laptop, but that laptop is too slow to edit and make videos.
The laptop I am using is a HP pavilion dv6-6c36tx, running windows 7.
I don't know too much about computers/laptops, but here are some of the specifications taken from the website: Microprocessor - 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7-2670QM, Video Graphics - ATI Radeon HD 7690M (1 GB GDDR5 dedicated), Memory - 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3.
