Import 4K

I'd like to import 4K videos in Virb Edit. The program lets me do it, even "copying", but they never appear in the library. I suppose it's not supported? Is this on the timeline? Thanks

We don't currently support 4k officially, it's on the road map.

This should theoretically work in 3.3. But depending on your hardware it might be a somewhat frustrating experience.

Thanks Falagar. My file was 10+ GB, so it didn't work because of the 4 GB file limit. But the beta solved it ;-)

Falager, seems an export to 4K is not possible. Will this be added soon?
Not much use importing in 4K and not being able to export above 1440...

It will be added eventually. I apologize, that's as concrete as I can get.
