I'm new to the Verb XE and have only used it 3 times so far. I'm struggling with it, a bit.
On two occasions when I've uploaded my videos post-ride (the first time and the last time) there have been in excess of 50 files; usually the first two or three are 15 minutes long, but thereafter they are all less than a minute, with the duration of each seeming to get less, down to just a couple of seconds. A few are 0 secs, and don't play at all. They also appear out of sequence in Virb Edit - it looks like it's numbering them according to duration/ file size rather than in the order they were taken (possibly; not sure about this yet.) Furthermore a few are upside down! I have the camera upside down in a Garmin mount, but I switched off auto-rotate after the first time this happened, when many more of the few-second clips appeared upside down than today.
As the battery life seems to be about an hour, on each occasion I've used the camera recording has finished when the battery was exhausted - I've not switched it off. Today I did turn off the camera for a short duration mid-ride, but as usual the battery ran out before I got home. The first part of the 'second' video is a usable 13 minute long; the rest again are short chunks.
What I'd ideally want is one video of each ride, but I understand file size limitation means videos will be broken into 4Gb chunks, and I can happily live with 3 or 4 nice 15 minute clips per ride, which is what my second ride upload gave me last week. But to get 55 clips, most of them too short be useful, out of sequence, is ridiculous.
I'm also not getting speed data or mileage showing up!
Anyone else having these problems? Am I doing something wrong?
The VirbXE video quality is really good but using my GoPro was far less stressful!
