Hi,

I installed VE 3.2, but when I start it, it keeps hanging in 'Loading Clips'. I can't find the problem, so any assistance would be helpfull.

Maybe your database has gotten corrupted.

Try renaming the folder "C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\VIRB Edit" temporarily. That will remove all your projects (but not the videos from your harddrive).

I renamed the folder, but no effect. Then I removed the folder. When I start VE, the folder is created and still keeps hanging. I installed VE on a different account on my computer and there the problem didn't occur. But I can't get it to work on my own account.
  • Hi there,

    I sometimes experience this.

I attributed this hang to the disks/storage where my library/videos are stored needs to spin up/respond. The delay in the disks seems to exceed what the Virb software likes and causes the program to hang. Only terminating (via task manager) and restarting allows it to work as normal.

If my disks are already awake/spinning then it Virb Edit starts up fine.

You might want to look into the part of the program that deals with the loading of the clips.
