Virb Edit asks for a DirectX 10 compatible card when DirectX 11 is already installed

Thanks for taking a look at this. I started to send you a PM as requested but I can't work out how to attach files to a PM.

I've attached the VirbEdit and VirbExport log files for you. Some points:

• The video is pretty long. 5:42:33 at the top resolution/frame-rate
  
• The output I've selected is 480P Low quality at 30 FPS which is estimated to be 3.1GB
  
• If I add another 15 minute segment of video then VirbExport crashes instead of complaining about Direct X
  
• If I remove segments to bring the size down, it all works fine (I haven't debugged where the failing<->working crossover is)
  

My machine runs 64 bit Windows 7 Professional, has 32GB of RAM and plenty of free disk space

DX 10 required??

I just received the Virb XE Aviation Bundle and wanted to test the video...imported video and then same error saying Vrib Edit requires DX 10 or higher? I have Windows 7 - 64bit - 32gb ram - Nvidia 5670 here at the office with DX 11?
I will try tonite at home with Windows 10 pro - 64bit - 32gb ram and Nvidia 660..i hope this works!

workaround to directx problem

My VIRB Edit also complained about missing direct X. When I shortened the export file it worked. So I think that the error message is wrong. I have the feeling that the gpx data capture is very slow and only works up to a certain length of video. Maybe there is a time limit in the program for finishing the data capture after which the error message is displayed. My workaround is as follows: I create videos of less than 10 Mins in length with the gpx data and then use another video editor to put them all together.
This is certainly not what I had in mind when I bought the camera. I wanted to do videos showing speed and position in them using just one program. Garmin, please find a solution. As long as this solution is not there maybe you can use the workaround.

....getting same message after importing video from Virb Elite when trying to view/edit them. Cannot even preview.
