I have a MAC Pro with the following config:
Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro6,1
Processor Name: 12-Core Intel Xeon E5
Processor Speed: 2.7 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 12
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 30 MB
Memory: 32 GB
and with this power house it took 3 hours to render 3 hours of video from PCI attached HDD to PCI attached HDD.......I feel sorry for the people with thin workstations. It would be helpful to streamline the VTDecoderXPCService.xpc to speed the render process. Maybe you could add GPU support? Thank you
