When I import my videos into the Virb library by default all is good. If I delete a clip from the library but not from my computer and then try to import it again from the video location it was saved in, it no longer contains gps data.... why?
What freaks me out is, a simple feature allowing you to take a picture while in recording mode and having it fail! Either test the feature before launching it or blocking the users attempt to do so if it's not an available option on the device... When using my Zumo 390LM as a VIRB remote, I can start a recording and while recording push a button to take a picture. If you don't support that feature, remove the button from the interface or test the button feature before making it a feature. Telling me I can't do something is ok, telling me I can and not making it work....well!
Now that VIRB Edit can take a snap of any frame, it's a much less useful feature to do it on the camera itself. I haven't used it since VIRB Edit gained that feature, since it's easy enough to go through the frames (even of a 720p x 60fps) and choose the ones I want. It'd be nice if it worked, but it's not as serious now that it doesn't.
