In Virb Edit you can take a photo from your video (button next to "Show or Hide map". When I click this, I get a error message. Can't write file. File doesn't exist.
Is it me, my Mac or Virb Edit?
Just you, I think. I've used this often on my Mac Pro. Is that all it says? You haven't deleted your Pictures folder, have you, because VIRB Edit writes the photos into ~/Pictures/VIRB. How about the permissions on the Pictures folder?

It is me �� I deleted this folder, as i add all movies to an external drive. Will make a new folder. Thanks!!!
Edit : No, that is not the problem. The VIRB folder was still in the Picture folder. Maybe it would be better to do a clean install.
Before you do that, try temporarily shifting your movie folder in VIRB Edit (just leave the actual movies where they are, you only need a short one to test) back to ~/Movies/Garmin, the default. The other thing you can try is to put a Pictures folder on the external drive. It may be taking its cue on where to put the pictures on where the movies are. If the first works, then an alias placed at ~/Movies/Garmin to where you actually keep the movies may be a solution.
They should probably fix that, then, since you can certainly name files in the Finder with a / included. They should watch for that and do the usual "replace / with :". (On old Mac OS, : was the separator used to indicate directories, and my movies folder is Macintosh HD:Users:schinder:Movies in that notation. You couldn't have a file name with : in it. In BSD Unix land where a lot of OS X operates, that would be /Users/schinder/Movies, and you can't have a file name with / in it. But the Finder retains the old ways.)
