Garmin Virb Edit freezes

I have just installed 2.8.0 and unfortunately this is freezing trying to create a video. I can load a few clips, and add them to a new video. When I start trying to position gauges on video it freezes. I lose control of the application altogether and have to force quit.

Mac OSX 10.10 running on i7 Macbook Air.

It has previously worked.

The point it freezes seems intermittent.

Next time this hangs, can you launch Activity Monitor, click the "Gear" popup button, and then pick "run spindump"? Sending us that log file will help us figure out what the application was doing that froze it.

Normally you can just send us a crash/error report, but I doubt you're getting that option for force quitting mid-hang. Sorry you're experiencing these issues, and thanks for reporting them!
