Whatever they did worked a treat!! My Virb Elite worked properly for the first time today. GPS sensor was spot on, all data from speed/cadence/power meter sensors worked and aligned perfectly.

    I'm a happy camper!!
  • My tracks are as flawed as ever - no change with this version of Virb Edit.

Anyone know where to find the Gauge Builder?

Good to hear! I believe we made some improvements to the automatic alignment logic in 2.7.

Anyone know where to find the Gauge Builder?

Right click on any gauge in the gauges UI.
  • By right click you mean Command Click?

This is all I see no matter which key modifier I use - CTRL, ALT or Command:

ctrl+click is the system standard for "right clicking" on a one button mouse, and we appear to have broken it in that UI.

Right clicking, or two-finger-clicking on a touchpad, will work, but we'll have to fix that ctrl+click in a future release. Thanks for the heads up, and sorry for the bug.

I can't get it to work either right-clicking or two-finger-touch on my touchpad. I tried editing the speed gauge on both the video screen and within the gauge selection window in the Editor section.

It looks like the version in the Mac store does not have the Gauge Builder. I downloaded the app directly from download link in this thread and this version works.
  • I am finding 2.8 to be really stable - today I created a video with 17 short clips from the last month and it worked perfectly, allowing me to trim the clips, add music and text, and then exported nicely and is now being uploaded to Vimeo.

Here's what I was working with.

What I would really like to see is the ability to add images into the videos, and for music to have more controls so I could stop or even change its level at points throughout the video, without resorting to an external program to tailor the music before it's added to the video.
  • One thing I really like in Virb Edit is the way you can save gauges as a template. I created a template from the gauges in this video and called it "Date, Time and Temps". Saves me some time if my video is the kind where there's no activity information anyway.
