When selecting overlays in VIRB Edit for "Motion/G-Force", are "Lat Gs and Lon Gs" the accelerations relative to North-South and East-West and if so are they the vector sum of the X and Y accelerations from the gpx file where +X is aligned with the direction of travel? Are "Right Gs and Left Gs" just the positive and negative values of the Y axis acceleration? Is G-Force just the vector sum of the X, Y and Z accelerations?
All g-forces are recorded relative to the current orientation of the camera. "Lat" or "Lateral" g-force is measurement of acceleration to the left/right of the camera, "lon" is acceleration along the axis the camera's looking down, and "vert" is acceleration up and down, relative to the camera's current orientation. These three components make up the 3D acceleration vector of your camera, measured in Gs. "G-force" without any axes specified is the magnitude of that vector.
Sorry about my triple post. right now i can analyze road situation by segmen such as : per 100 m or 1000 m its depend on totally distance what we observe. example : Road Distance : 1200 m Segmen View : each 200 m
