GPS Data not showing in Virb Edit

Hi,

I have just imported some new clips, when I preview them the speed and other GPS related data show absolutely fine. However when I add the clip to a video none of the GPS data show, just blank values. I have tried adding different gauges, adjusting the GPS track etc and nothing seems to work. I haven't had this problem before, just on my most recent import. I have exported the video hoping it would be ok when this was done, I get the GPX track exported but again the video does not show any data? Any ideas? Virb is on 3.8.0 and Virb Edit, Mac 2.6.0.

Thanks

I know that when I have a track but don't have the dot, I'm looking at a something without GPS data.
Sometimes the VIRB starts recording without lock on the satelites.
In that case it only records video until it locks.
From that point on, both video and GPS data are recorded.
This results in a clip that starts before the GPS data and the track starts.
As long as I am looking to the part before the start of the GPS data, VIRB Edit does not know where I am and can't put a dot on the track.
A track will be shown but this is only the piece that was recorded.

    CHRISRHOWE:

The track you've shown in your screenshots is pretty big. You'd have to zoom in a lot on the web map to see any alignment issues. If this worked for you in 2.5.2 and not in 2.6.0, then I'm pretty confident that you're experiencing the same problem.
  • I've had a look at the alignment and you are correct. When I look at the gps map of the clip that is added to the video then the alignment is out :-

The odd thing is though, if I select that clip in the video and choose "adjust" to adjust the gps then in the same map everything looks like it is aligned properly and the gps data shows in the clip when I am adjusting the track. When I click done though it goes back to being misaligned and not showing any data
