New Firmware: Version 3.80

A new version of the firmware for the Virb is available through Garmin WebUpdater.

Changes from version 3.70 to version 3.80:

Fixed issue with slow boot-to-record times when using non-English languages.
Remember A/V cable preferences across power cycles.

Not a lot to get excited about in the change log but Garmin often quietly bundles in other fixes and I'm sure this one is no exception.

Make sure you have a fresh battery in your Virb if you do the update. And once the update file is transferred and Web Updater tells you to disconnect the Virb, restart the camera with a quick push on the power button, then leave it alone for a few minutes!

Do not interfere while the update happens. After a few minutes the camera will go back to being ready, as normal.

I do this update, when unplug the unit to restart after that unit get stucked, I thought problem is the BATT. low, when I remove the SD card and format it, fortunately it works when I put to the unit,

I am happy to report that the long startup time bug on non english devices is now solved, now I can take a picture after a second or so after power on. Previously it could take many minutes before the device could take pictures or start taking video.
