USB Port broken

I'm sorry to post my hardware question in here but this seems like the best possibe place on this forum. Besides having issues with charging my unit it also won't connect to my laptop. As you can see in the picture everytning is connected the way it should with the Garmin USB cable, yet the unit isn't found by the laptop. I also tried Ant but that isn't working either.

I can wiggle the connector of the USB cable al lot when it is connected there doesn't seem to be a tight fit which I'm used to with other USB devices. Is this normal or am I looking at a broken USB port on my Virb?

The connector has a really tight fit, maybe you need to push it further in.
If it's already fully in and you can move the chassis part, than there is something wrong.

The USB shoot fit tightly, I think the problem is with your connection.
