it seems the files are being renamed when imported. I understand that there has to be some renaming in case of duplicate filenames.
but Virb Edit fills the numbers which are not yet used. that's boring, because new files are then 'between' old ones when sorted by filename in finder.
even more disturbing is that it keeps the original filename as the description.
I'm using Final Cut Pro to edit the clips further and it's hard to find the matching clip in Virb Edit this way.
I know I can use 'show in Finder' to find them, but with hundreds of clips?? (came back from a week of motorcycle riding and have 300 clips)
and it changes the filedate when importing!
nice to have sorting by date in Virb Edit, but please keep the original date of the files and don't change it to the importing timestamp!
I would like to see the original date also in other editing softwares without importing the files twice (once to Final Cut Pro and once to Virb Edit).
I hope this will be added to the list of feature requests for the developers!
