What I find especially interesting is that while there is no gps data in the videos, the photos I took while video was recording are all properly geolocated.

I did this update 3.7. When Elite off, the Rec button takes more than a minute to start recording. When Rec to off, the cam needs the same time to really shut down. When Power on, the cam takes more than a minute to be on and ready to start recording.When Power to off, the cam needs more than a minute to stop. I did a factory reset. Still the same.
This is non practicable for me. Do you experience the same? I don't know how to report more.
I've done a downgrade to 3.2 and now the elite is responding better. The down time is acceptable.

I update again to 3.70 and found that start/stop problems comes when changing language from English to Français !!!
I switched mine to 'Francais' and when booting up, the preview window stays black for a very long time. But I took a picture, and a video, while the preview was black and both worked.

Added live streaming of viewfinder over Composite Video cable
Is this solely via composite or does it work over HDMI also? I've tried it with HDMI and had no luck, so I'm assuming it's a no. But just thought I'd check I wasn't doing something stupid.
