I noticed something interesting about the Remote/Virb interaction today - it's probably a bug, but when the camera goes into "Press Any Key to Wake Up" mode, if you do press a key on the camera and do as I did which was to take pictures with the "Ok" button on the camera, when you do that, the picture which is taken remains on the camera display as if the camera had locked.
After taking a picture I then had no updated view to help me frame the next picture. If I cycled through the menu system it did come back to a live viewfinder though, so it was obvious the camera was not locked, though the viewfinder display had not been changing.
This only happens when using the camera buttons when the Remote is still connected to the Virb.
