3 Virb cycling setup with Garmin 810

Hi Guys

I've got 3 Virbs on my bike and did a little video explaining how they all work together. Perhaps not that useful for anyone with a virb but it does show the remote control stuff working:

I've uploaded a video here that shows all 3 cameras being used:

The video is definitely a bit too noisy and I don't think I really needed to include all 3 cameras.

Another couple of videos here with 2 cameras:

  • Hello BigBlokeOnaBike, thank you for the video showing your setup with three Virbs. I have used two so far, have some room for improvement :-)

Just wonder why you used Dashware instead of Garmin Virb Edit?

If you look at this thread:

    https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?80369-Virb-Edit-messing-with-data-overlays-numbers-incorrect

Dashware seems to do a much better job with the data. Whilst the data that Virb Edit displays technically might be more correctly what was recorded this just makes errors in GPS positioning very obvious.

I also really don't like the way that Virb Edit imports stuff. The fact that it dumps all your videos in one folder with no tagging will make it impossible to find anythign in a month's time. It also hides the GPX file in it's own folder so if you move the video file you essentially lose all of that data.

I copy the video file and GPX file off the camera manually in a folder that is labelled so that it's easy to find and I then point Dashware at that.
