Thinking about upgrading a macbook pro we have in the household. How much ram can the mac virb edit software take advantage of if present? Wondering if that part of upgrade is worth it for software such as this which is mostly what that machine would get used for (besides low requirement usage)
I am running a mac air with 8gb of ram. Video editing is processor intensive, not ram, and when viewing system utilization during editing, I have lots of ram free, but processing a video will push my dual core i7(1.7GHZ) to the limits.
