Mixed Up Clips in 2.3

I tried 2.3 on my two Macs but I reverted back to 2.2.2. I find the whole library is corrupt, as well as the handling of clips. It mixes and matches video clips at random making it impossible to create a video of multiple clips.

The easiest way to get to your personal Library folder is to hold Option key and select Go in Finder, then you will see Library.

JHELLSTROM: I wouldn't recommend reverting back to previous versions of VIRB Edit without clearing your library. While we don't intentionally break the library file format's backwards-compatibility, it's not something we officially support.
  • PAXTER1: I get it, but it works as suposed to in version 2.2.2. The 2.3 is a mess if you try to make one video with several video clips.
Let's say we have clips A, B and C. You make a video with the clips in that order, but when played back it's BAC or whatever.

Moved to a new thread because it didn't have much to do with the last thread it was in, and I renamed the original thread so these all actually match what's being discussed in them.

    JHELLSTROM:
What OS version are you running? While the problems you describe are more unavoidable and unfixable than similar issues our testing has encountered, we've made a lot of good fixes in VIRB Edit regarding those kinds of problems lately. I recommend trying out the next version when that arrives.
  • Paxter: I was running 10.9.1 on an iMac and Macbook Air when testing 2.3. I am looking forward to the new one.
Great to have you on the forums btw.
  • I had problems exporting a 10 minute film cut from 2.5 hours of footage with 2.2.2. It just wouldn't export.
I installed 2.3 and it works perfect.

    Thank you.
