My virb elite is locked UP.

Could anyone help me?

I bought this virb elite from amazon, I used for one day normaly... At night it was locked UP, and when I rebooted (20 min holding power button) they returned locked.

O tryed to update the software, but the Computer doesnt recognize it in this way... I dont know what to do...

Any sugestion? Thanks

Have you got a SD card in it? It needs one in order to boot or be recognized by the computer. If you do have a card in it, make sure the card is in the slot properly.

Have you tried a Master Reset? Hold the Down button as you power on, then let it go.

Thank you for the response. O have checked the SD Card is in the right place, and virb doesnt response my command to master reset. I have no idea what to try...

Take the sd card out and put the upgrade software on the card itself, then put that card back into the Virb and start it up. Hopefully it'll apply the update and work from then on.

You can find the update file [URL="http://garminvirb.wikispaces.com/Firmware#x-Firmware History-3.20"]here[/URL].

Save the file Virb320.gcd from that page on the link called "GCD". Then place it on the sd card, in the folder called X:\Garmin and rename it to gupdate.gcd

Then put it back in the camera and start it up, and if you're lucky, it'll apply the update. Do this with a fresh battery, and don't interrupt the process.
