Garmin Virb Edit - Movie Export Error %ph%

Hi, This is the first post. I am new to Garmin Virb Edit (v 2.3.0) For Mac having recently purchased a Garmin Virb. I have produced and edited a video in the edit suite and am trying to export the video to MP4 in any resolution (e.g. 1080, HD 960p, HD 720p, 480p) see screen shots (.png) attached however when i export it to a folder I continually get the following error (.png also attached) %ph% showing to click boxes, one for %ph% the other finish. The software crashes at this stage without exporting anything.
Is this a software glitch or have i missed something obvious? As it stands, I can't export any video to MP4…
I would be grateful for any assistance.
Kind regards

Sorry you're having problems with this. It certainly shouldn't be happening, and we have no known issues that fail this consistently at the moment. What OS version are you using? Have you updated your VIRB's firmware to the current version?

Did you get a prompt to report this export error and/or crash to Garmin? That would give us a lot of information with which to solve this issue.

If every video you receive from your VIRB fails to export, could you record a short video, confirm that it fails to export too, and then mail it to [email protected] ?

Hi Thank you for replying
I confirm I am using Mac OS X 10.7.5
Virb Edit for Mac 2.3.0
And the latest Virb Elite firmware/software, 3.10
I still have the same issue with not being able to import the selected file to MP4. I have attached some more screenshots and sent a video to the email quoted.
The basic issue remains the same in as much as a %ph% error arises when i select export to a specific file location (the pop up screen asks if I want to replace an existing file which does not exist) and then highlights two boxes to select either %ph% or finish. If I select %ph% it runs through the same export process but crashes on the import to MP4 screen where the status bar remains a blue and white diagonal stripe.
I have since created a test video and tried to export that. This exports without an issue. the test file is 43 secs long unaltered whereas the 'rolling 3 file' has music and speed alteration overlays.
I look forward to any help you can give me...

There have been problems with bad frames at the head of video clips imported into VIRB Edit. If export appears to be hung, you can try to trim a second from the start of the offending clips. If the export progress bar remains a blue barber pole, it's the first clip that has a problem. If export hangs and it's not a blue barber pole, then it's one of the subsequent clips that has a problem. You may want to trim the first second from all clips just to be safe. We'll have a fix for this problem in the next release.

The strange %ph% button label is a totally different problem that we'll also have a fix for in the next release. This %ph% problem is only affecting 10.7 users.
