Upload on youtube not possible

I had problems uploading the video edited in Virb Edit, it was around 3 min long. I had a couple of seconds slow motion in it and speeded up some clips which I took away then it was no problem converting the video before uploading. But no it does not upload step 2 to youtube. I used iMovie for years and it has never been any problem with neither of above.

Why cant I upload the movie to youtube? (I uploaded a test movie on 8seconds before).
  • Can you export to a file? I ask only in that as a temporary fix -- exporting to a file, then uploading the file.
  • Yes I could export that one to file and import it through youtube. Hope Garmin will release an update soon so we can edit in Virb Edit and uploading without problems soon. Or perhaps the best would be if Garmin Virb Elite would import to iMovie with layers. Anyway pity that the software does not work, its been out for quite some times now.

I can't get anything to upload to YouTube either. It seems to get all the way to the end then I get an error.
Tried exporting to a file first then uploading that. But the exported video has a problem in that the dials haven't all rendered properly. The Heart Rate gauge has been 'corrupted'.

It seems you have two gauges on top of eachother.
Try moving the heartrate gauge and see if there is another gauge there.
I've noticed gauges can't be removed from the overlay, only added.
If you want to hide a gauge, move it outside the screen.
If you really want to delete it, you need to go into the code.

Will try that next time. I had tried to remove gauges by dragging them off screen but that didn't work. I couldn't actually drag it off the screen. It just moved to the edge. Highlighting the gauge and pressing the delete key removed it from the screen but looks as if it may not be working correctly.
  • I find simply clicking on the gauge then pressing delete removes them---no, there is nothing to indicate when you click on a gauge, that it is "activated" for modifying/deleting. This is of course in the overlay mode.

now it works, selecting than pressing delete, probably done something wrong in the past.

Selected gauges should render a lighter blue color. Any gauge you just dragged in will be selected by default.
