Nicely done--it will be a day or two before I get to really play with it, but I really appreciate the added feature to select the data I want and place it where I want it.
Fully agree with the big improvements about overlays. In addition, I am under the impression that now adjusting the track with the video works correctly.
Just for curiosity, I have installed the Windows version on my Parallels virtual machine ... no comparison with the Mac version :-) Mac version is much better and much more stable! With the Windows version you can't export a video bigger than 4 GB, with my Mac version I have exported without any issue videos around 18 GB :-)
After updating today I am going back to the older version. This has extensive bugs when importing clips and trying to sort and cut in them. Lets say I have clip 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. I delete clip 4 from the movie and previews number 5 which shows exactly like number 4. I remove clip 5 and previews clip 6, same number 4 clips shows again.
If I quite Virb adit and launch it agan it has mixed up clips and have them in the wrong order.
I just installed version 2.2.2 over version 2.3 and removed my movie I started editing with version 2.3. I made a new one with the same imported clips and it works as expected.
I still can't upload directly to YouTube from VIRB Edit. The video is not large, only about 100 Mb, but when I try, it chugs along for about 45 minutes, then quits with what it says is an "Authentication Error". I am properly logged into Google though.
I can export and upload easily to YouTube from Picasa, or to VIMEO.
Like FREHAG I'm unable to export video, the program always crashes. I never see a release of a product unstable like this, garmin's programmers have ever tested this software?!
