Since I don't have an external mic input cable, I'm experimenting with this:
It's a standard microphone windsock I happened to have kicking around. Paid $4.00 for it at a music store. Haven't tried it on a bike yet, since it's far too cold out, but it'll probably need an elastic band around it to hold the windsock on.
Hey NT8, I was wondering why you needed to cut the flap to close off the HDMI? Why not just use electrical tape to cover it off if you were worried about water reaching it?
Just for interest's sake, here's my VIRB with a windsock out in the breeze, on the hood of my car. Sorry, there's no way I'm riding my motorcycle at -25C temperatures.
