The app is functional on initial trials but so far I gotta pull the battery twice - somehow just gotta shut the WiFi OFF on the Virb before disconnecting from the IOS device seemed to be the logical step to prevent the camera from freezing up...
Once in WiFi mode, the options available on the camera are Viewfinder, Dash and WiFi - it would look to me like one has to get out of WiFi to change settings on the camera, however, these settings are available on the user interface of the IOS app.
