VIRB Wish List

I wish my VIRB had a way of displaying owner information like most of the Garmin GPS units. This could be a text file which is picked up from the card, or better yet written from the card to the device so the card didn't have to be in the unit all the time. The owner information would be displayed on power-up.

The reason I ask is that we lost a GoPro off a motorcycle last year (no great loss now that the VIRB is here!) and realized after that even if it had been picked up by an honest person, there was no way to tell who the owner was. I wrote my name and phone number with a Sharpie on my other cameras after that, but that's not very elegant.

VIRB EDIT with VIRB XE

I don't want to have to bring my XE to my computer each time I need to download. Waiting too long means I forget which photos belong to which ride on strava. Is it possible for Verb Edit to find the XE over my home wifi so that when I arrive home I can just walk to the computer and grab and upload the photos without detaching the XE from my bike? Something similar to how the mobile app can display files on the XE over wifi.

Virb Edit wish to have

It would be great to have all the files in one central folder (movies,GPX(GMetrix) data,projects, etc) so that they can be easily moved between different computers. Sometimes I edit on my Macbook Pro but when I am at home/office, it would be great to use my iMac instead. Having to dig into the ~(user)/library/application support/garmin/VIRB Edit/database/1/....... I use other video editing software that stores all the data in one folder not hidden in (user)/library/application support
