do the developers even use VIRB edit by themselfs? it does not look so, otherwise they would create a software which would be usable.
it's not the features, I'm talking about usability. give your developers free cams and make them actually use Virb Edit!
as I'm trying out my Virb, I get a lot of videos. to delete them, do I really need to right-click each single one and choose delete??
there is no 'select all' (or ctrl+a) to select them all and hit delete! ctrl-click doesn't select multiple movies neither. this also goes for
the 'import selected movies' dialog. no click+drag to select tenth movies at once, no shift-click first and last, really click them one-by-one??
there are software guidelines by Microsoft (and Apple on OSX), stick to them!!!
there is no timestamp visible on the movies. so I have many movies in the 2013, december folder. if I'm using multiple sd-cards, it's beginning to count the filename from 0001 again. so I'm not even able to find the movie by filename.
please put the timestamp in the filename and also show it in Virb edit!
it's always the same with the action cams:
very good (and expensive) hardware, but software!
I hoped Garmin has more money for their developers to not make the same mistake as Contour and GoBandit.
and why does the look always have to be special? Virb Edit is black/red, Contour Storyteller is black/yellow, GoBandit Studio is black/orange. just use the native OS colors of Windows/OSX, dammit!
enough ranting for now, more to come...
