Virb edit not exporting OS 10.9

Installed Virb edit 2.1.0 for Mac on my Macbook Air 7" 2013 edition. Imported video from Virb elite, did a trim left, added music, export to computer 1080P---folder is created that contains a 0kb video fie.

Also, Garmin update crashes checking for "other updates"--sees virb just fine and says virb elite is up to date.

I am able to export on a windows machine with the windows version of virb edit so that eliminates the virb, storage card as possible problems.

I was able to export the verb video I edited in i-movie, then took into verb edit--it exported, but I am unable to export a video from clips imported from the verb elite---
Garmin?? Any ideas???

It exports the gps data file, creates the video file, but ends, leaving a 0byte file.

We have fixed a number of export issues in the upcoming 2.2 release. But just to be sure was the video recorded on the VIRB using 1080 setting or was a different setting that had a non-30 fps setting?
