Video Dates In Wrong Order

Hi. I've been using a Virb Elite with Virb Edit for a while now, and am happy with it.

Of late, however, the dates seem to be out of order. I imported video today, that I took yesterday (16 January 2021), but when I look at the video library at the bottom of the Virb Edit screen, the top video is dated 08 October 2019. The one below that is 20 November 2020. Then it's 17 November 2020, and then 15 December 2020.

Version 5.4.3 (180910.1208), with MacOS 10.15.7 (19H114).

I tried a factory reset of my Virb Elite, but that didn't help.

Can someone help?

This issue has been reported on here before. Started with v5.4.3 which was released to fix a startup problem when Mojave was released. v5.4.2 was the last stable release unfortunately it only works with macOS High Sierra.

Thank you. Does that mean that there'll be a fix released by Garmin at some point?

It's been over two years since Garmin released an update to the s/w so indications are NO.

You could set-up your Mac to dual boot or run something like Parallel VM and install the Windows version of Virb Edit. Sorry I can't be much more help than that.

No dice either since the last Windows update, Virb Edit loves to crash when you try to edit a clip.
