VIRB Edit 4.1.1 - NO Elevation Overlay

I'm using VIRB Edit 4.1.1 on Mac
What's happend to the Elevation overlay? In the preview everything is OK and data are there. But When I export the movie the data on Elevation Overlay (and Elevation Overlay only) are totally blank!
  • Same problem here...

Same problem here. And probably, the origin of the problem is at this file: "_Graph_MED_AuxHR.veg"
  • Not just Elevation

I have the same problem, but it's not just the Elevation, it's any graphical display including Heart Rate & Cadence ..... How this could have been missed by the QA Team is bizarre, it's a very easy thing to check pre-prod.

Given the simple & obvious QA that was not done on this version, I'm surprised that the application actually opens to begin with.

    Very poor effort Garmin !
  • G-Metrix Import / Sync NOT working for the Mac Version

Something I forgot to mention in my previous post is that the G-Metrix Import / Sync function does not work on the 4.1.1 Version for Mac.

I've tested it on the Windows equivalent & it works fine.

Seems that Garmin perform SIGNIFICANTLY less QA on Mac software than they do on Windows software.

Why not just make the Mac version unavailable if they're not going to do a proper job?

BTW: I bought TWO VIRBS specifically because of the Bio-Metric features .... Maybe I should have gone GoPro instead? ..... No Bio-Metrics, but no wasted money on functionality that doesn't actually exist; despite the claims that it does, it only half does.

Garmin --> please, hire yourself some proper QA Engineers. Don't Off-Shore to India, The Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand or elsewhere because it saves you a couple of bucks ..... Extract a digit & do the job right, stop corner cutting !

I've invested thousands of dollars into various Garmin products & it's a slap in my face ..... Rino, Montana, Edge, Fenix, Sensors, Mounts, Harnesses etc.

As it turns out, I happen to be a QA Specialist, so feel free to contact me & hire a proper service. As it is, I'm testing your systems for FREE !
