Hi,
I'm having issues getting VIRB Edit to sync video files from a Cycliq Fly12 with the FIT file from a Garmin Edge 820. The timestamp in the video files is correct (viewing the timestamps with a metadata viewer, a video that starts at 11am has a timetstamp that shows 11am), but it seems that VIRB Edit is treating the video timestamp as if it is in GMT (I'm in Japan, which is GMT+9, so it seems that it's expecting the 11am video to have a timestamp that says 2am). When I load the 11am video into VIRB Edit, it the "Get Info" in VIRB Edit displays a time of 8pm (which is 11am + 9 hours).
How (exactly) does VIRB Edit derive the time from the file? There are many Exif/DCF/XMP time-related fields it could read... which (exactly) does it try? If VIRB Edit applies some kind of timezone conversion, what is it and how can I modify it.
I'm 100% certain that the video metadata is correct with respect to the Exif metadata standard; how can I get VIRB Edit to work with correct videos?
Thanks. VIRB Edit 4.1.1 on OSX 10.12.0
