G-Metrix not working properly with imported GPX file

I'm trying to sync video from a GoPro with a .gpx file from my Garmin 510. The first time I used VIRB edit, this worked perfectly. The last 2 times, I imported the correct .gpx file, but VIRB Edit still shows the previous "G-metrix Log" on the G-Metrix tab. When I try to use the G-Metrix Sync, it appears as though VIRB Edit has compiled all of my previously-downloaded .gpx files, creating a file that is 794 minutes long. It's almost impossible to manually align the video and gpx data using the Sync function because this ride is the last 2 hours of a 794-minute file. See attached pictures. Is there any way to fix this? I keep choosing the correct gpx file for each clip, yet the G-Metrix Log keeps listing the first gpx file I ever uploaded on the G-Metrix Log tab.

Off topic as I cannot help you with your particular issue, however do you have a GPX file you can send me. I am having issues with getting any of my GPX files readable in VIRB Edit. Currently I am using an Android app on my Samsung phone that data-logs GPS information and can be exported to a GPX file. So far I have had no luck in getting the file to read properly in the software. I assumed all GPX standards are the same. If you can send me an example file that you use, I'd like to compare with what my application on the phone is creating. Thank you kindly for any help!
