I just downloaded Homeport to my Windows PC. Homeport is asking me to unlock charts. Homeport sends me to a Garmin webpage where you enter the Garmin's Unit ID, Device Serial Number and Product Key/Coupon Code. All the proper values are filled-in on the web page.
I do have my Garmin GPSmap 76Cx connected to my computer using the USB port and I do have the proper Garmin Communicator Plugin loaded on my PC. The charts I have are the "BlueChart Americas 2008" loaded on the 76Cx and PC.
When I try to get the chart unlocked via the web page, I get the following error message "No map regions found for the product key."
Any suggestions why I am getting this error and how I may be able to unlock the charts so I can use Homeport?
