As a newbie to Homeport, I'm still trying to work my way through it. So far, I'm able to connect my Garmin 78sc and see the nautical charts. I've been able to create a route on Homeport and send it to the 78sc. BUT......I can't seem for figure out how to clear the route from the computer so I can create another route covering some of the same area as the first route. If the routes can't be cleared the nautical chart area will be too confusing and difficult to create other routes starting from my mooring location. Thanks for any help.
I don't use Homeport but believe it's similar to Basecamp. To delete a route try right clicking it and selecting Delete. If you simply want to hide a route you need to create folders and lists in your collection. Only data in a selected folder or list is displayed, this enables you to save data without having it visible on the map unless you wish to see it (by selecting the folder/list that it's in).
