When I create a route in Homeport from my waypoints (in homeport) and send to my Quatix they retain the names set up in homeport. However if I "Receive from device" the waypoints have a number added to the name. If I then delete the routes from the quatix and send the same information back to the quatix from the backed up folder the waypoints in the routes have a number added. Why is this and does it matter?
When you receive from device, do you already have the waypoints in your database? We use the name as the unique identifier for each waypoint in the database. If you already have one locally (in HomePort) and you try to import another with the same name, it adds a number.
Is this true in your case? Do you already have the waypoints in HomePort when you receive from device?
