Create an Area?

How can I create an area to avoid?
I'm using MapSource and HomePort with Win7.
I've established Proximity Alarms for individual objects to avoid, but want to establish an area to avoid, based on Lat/Long. The area is a controlled fishing area. Once plotted on MapSource or HomePort, I want to download it to my GPSMap 76, GPSMap 198C, and eTrex Mariner.
With that area displayed on my GPS, it would be easy to avoid without having to refer to my paper chart and Lat/Long.

I am afraid this is not yet supported in HomePort.

I downloaded BaseCamp and in Off Roading, drew an Avoidance Zone and gave it a name. Is there a way to have that Zone displayed on the map all the time or have it listed, like a Waypoint or POI that I can select to be displayed? What I want to do is to send this to my Garmin GPS and have it displayed, either all the time or when selected.
