Yes, you can change the name of the folder to any name you want. You can also create new folders and give it your own names. Please note that MapSource will only read from the folder named userdata.
I would like to keep my various collections of routes on a single SD card for transfer to my 5208 plotter rather than keeping several separate SD cards around.
The answer to the question above states that the folders can be renamed but goes on to say that MapSource will only read from "userdata". It seems that HomePort is the same, I created folders on an SD card but HomePort would not recognize them.
What I would really like to do is have an SD card with several folders ("A", "B", "C", etc.) and put several routes in each. I could then keep this SD card in my plotter and when I leave one area and enter another I could load the next group of routes to the plotter without changing SD cards.
Is this possible?
