Unable to install Homeport 2.2.5.0. "Unable to find description change file" message first appears and then after attempting to install "Previous Homeport not found. Setup will terminate." mesage appears. I do not have details of my original online Homeport program purchase from Garmin and am therefore unable to delete and reinstall program as recommended in other threads on the same topic. Any suggestions would be welcome.
HomePort is now a free application. It sounds like, for some reason, you are installing the update when the full application has not yet been installed on the computer you are using.
Try getting the full version. Backup your data, uninstall whatever version you currently have installed, and install the application from scratch. Let me know if that helps. :)
