I have a new GPSMAP 78sc and will use it on my jetski. I downloaded Home Port and tried creating a route. After a copnversation with Garmin, I learned how to create a route, but the mistakes that I had made trying alone causes my new complete route to start at waypoint 6 and I can't seem to figuire how to change the waypoint numbers on an old route or how to start a new route beginning at waypoint one. Thanks for any help!
You might try double clicking on the route and dragging with your mouse the points you want to move to the correct order. Let me know if this helps you.

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately that does not work. Double clicking the route will allow you to get into an edit screen by point, but you can't change the "name" number of the waypoint.
Do you see your waypoints on the left-hand-side of the screen where all the data is? If you long double click, like click---- click it should allow you to rename the point. Does this help at all?
