Can not get G2 vsion chart

I am on Windows 7. Have a Garmin 740s purchased two months ago. Purchased Garmin BlueChart g2 vision on SD for plotter. Purchased Homeport and installed.

I can not get any chart on homeport with chart data no matter what I do.
1. My G2 card is recognized (VUS003R- capecod) but all I see is general chart with no data (depths, channels, contours, navigational aids etc etc )
2. I got new SD card. inserted in chartplotter when off, started chartplotter (to format ), copied map to card and user info.
3. Insert card into card reader at PC and it does not see it. I know card reader works because when I put in the G2 card it reads it ( but does not seem to import it )
4. I tried copying the files on the PC and then import... not successful
5. I AM able to import user data from either card ( tracks, waypoints )

I usually LOVE Garmin products but I am pretty frustrated right now.

You can't "import", copy to the PC, or anything like of the G2 data and try using it in Homeport. You can only use the original "un-modified" chip, inserted into the SD card reader in the plotter. In Homeport you can use a copied SD chip (exact copy of the entire chip) of the G2 data, but it must also be inserted into the SD slot while running Homeport.

Hard to tell from you screenshot, but it looks like you tried importing the chart data or something??

PS- you have to zoom in to see any detail, contours......
