Does Homeport have the capability to let you preview tidal information during route playback? In other words, instead of just setting a static time for tidal information (that doesn't change during playback) that the time for the tidal/current information would change during playback to reflect the time associated with the moving arrow (estimated arrival time of the leg at the moving arrow).
If the software was integrated in this way, you could see the effects of current and tide as you playback a route. This feature would make the planning software much more powerful. As it is now, I don't find playback to be very useful.
Currently to plan for tides along a long route I have to set the tide prediction time to a static time based on what the estimated arrival time would be for a specific leg of the route, check the current/tide information, and then repeat many times for other legs in the route. This is very time consuming.
