Homeport not starting

Hi!

I have just bought and downloaded Homeport, and installed it on my PC running Windows 7 (64-bit).
The installation went okey, but when I try to start the program I get a windows pop-up for a short period
of time saying something like "HomePort application has stopped working and that windows is looking for a solution to the problem".
No Garmin screen or anything....and then the pop-up disappears and nothing else happens.

What's up and what can I do?
Tried to reinstall the program but still the same problem.

FYI HomePort is a marine version of BaseCamp. Since this forum gets little traffic you might want to check the BC forum since there are many threads about this sort of issue there.
