Homeport CRASHES when pasting track points into a track!

The latest version of Homeport crashes if you try to Paste track points into another track. We used to be able to do this, but when I do it now, the software completely crashes with a Support message dump.

Synopsis:
I want to make a "Saved Track" out of a small portion of an existing track in Homeport, that I can later import back into my chart plotter (GPSMap 7215).

1. I have a track which was Transferred via SD chip from my 7215 plotter, and then imported into Homeport (via SendTo MyCollection folder).
2. I create a small "fake" track in Homeport with just 2 points, so I can paste in the real points I want to work with.
3. I open up the Saved track, and highlight the portion of the track points I want to use, and then Right click mouse and select COPY.
4. I close that track, and open the new "fake" track, then right click the mouse and select PASTE to paste the copied track points into the new track point list.
5. CRASH!

I used to be able to do this, and I would end up with the new track full of the copied track points. I would just delete the 2 fake points I used to create the track, and then I would have the portion of the saved track I want to use.

    Dear Garmin support,
This is still a problem in latest version downloaded and updated today (01/15/2014), Version 2.24!

Can you PLEASE fix this?? It takes me HOURS to workaround this to simply cut out a small portion of a Track. I have to work in reverse and duplicate the track, then delete the parts I don't want instead of just cutting and pasting the track point I want in the new track.

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
