HomePort will not run on Windows 8

Greetings,

Just installed the latest version on my 64-bit Windows 8 system. It crashes on startup with a "Homeport application has stopped working" message.

Running it in W7 compatibility mode does not help.

Any suggestions?

I don't know about Windows 8, but the first thing I do if an application doesn't work after installation is to uninstall it, remove all traces of it, and install it again. You might also try installing it in the compatibility mode.
